Shipping policy

1. Overview

Lilly White Cakes offers both freshly baked goods and digital recipe downloads. Please read the information below to understand how each type of order is fulfilled.

2. Physical Orders

All of our bakes are freshly made to order and carefully packaged to ensure they arrive in the best possible condition.

Order Cut-Off & Dispatch Schedule

Orders must be placed by 6:00pm every Wednesday for Thursday dispatch.

Orders placed after this cut-off time will be processed in the following week's batch.

Shipping Method

All physical orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24.

Estimated delivery: 1–2 working days after dispatch
Tracking information will be provided where available.
Please note that Royal Mail Tracked 24 is not a guaranteed next-day service.

Delivery Responsibility

Once your order has been dispatched, it is in the hands of the courier. Lilly White Cakes cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by Royal Mail or other circumstances beyond our control.

Incorrect Addresses

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the delivery address provided at checkout is accurate and complete. We cannot be held responsible for orders sent to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

Missed Deliveries

If a delivery attempt is missed, it is the customer's responsibility to arrange redelivery or collection directly with Royal Mail.

Damaged or Delayed Orders

We take great care in packaging our products. However, if your order arrives damaged or significantly delayed, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with:

Your order number
A description of the issue
Photographs where applicable

We will review each case individually and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, refund or another suitable resolution in accordance with your consumer rights.

Collection

If you choose collection at checkout, collection details and a collection time will be provided. Orders should be collected at the agreed time.

3. Digital Recipe Downloads

Digital recipe purchases are not shipped.

Once payment has been successfully processed, your recipe will be available to download immediately via your order confirmation page and a download link will also be sent to the email address provided at checkout.

No physical product will be posted.
